Turkish Yogurt and Cucumber Dip / Sauce

Ingredients:
½ Cup Plain Yogurt (Yoğurt)
3 Persian Cucumbers (Farsça Salatalık) - grated or finely chopped
1 clove Fresh Garlic (Sarımsak) - grated into a paste
Juice of 1 Lemon (Limon Suyu)
1 ½ tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Zeytinyağı)
½ tsp Dried Mint (Kuru Nane)
Kosher Salt (Tuz) to taste
Preparation:
- Place the yogurt in a medium bowl and whisk until smooth - Add the olive oil and continue to whisk until thoroughly combined
- Add the lemon juice and whisk to combine - Add the garlic and mint and whisk to combine - Fold in the cucumber until thoroughly combined
- Season with salt to taste
- Cover and place in the refrigerator for a minimum 30 minutes to allow flavors to mature
- Garnish with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a sprinkle of dried mint
- Serve cold alongside grilled meats, as part of your mezze table, or as part of any Turkish meal
