British Pigs in a Blanket

Ingredients:
24 Cocktail Sausages (AKA Lit'l Smokies, Cocktail Wieners, and Cocktail Franks)*
12 Slices [American-Streaky] Bacon (NOT Thick Cut)
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 375ºF
- Lightly grease a baking tray and line with baking parchment
- Lay out the bacon slices and gently stretch them lengthwise as far as you can without tearing
- Cut each slice in half
- Wrap each cocktail sausage tightly with a half a slice of the 'stretched' bacon
- Lay the wrapped sausages on the prepared baking tray seam side down
- Place in the top third of the oven and allow to cook until the bacon is browned and 'crisp' and the sausages are cooked through (apx 20-25 minutes)
- Serve hot or at room temperature
