British Pigs in a Blanket

Ingredients:

24 Cocktail Sausages (AKA Lit'l Smokies, Cocktail Wieners, and Cocktail Franks)*
12 Slices [American-Streaky] Bacon (NOT Thick Cut)

Preparation:
  1. Preheat oven to 375ºF
  2. Lightly grease a baking tray and line with baking parchment
  3. Lay out the bacon slices and gently stretch them lengthwise as far as you can without tearing
  4. Cut each slice in half
  5. Wrap each cocktail sausage tightly with a half a slice of the 'stretched' bacon
  6. Lay the wrapped sausages on the prepared baking tray seam side down
  7. Place in the top third of the oven and allow to cook until the bacon is browned and 'crisp' and the sausages are cooked through (apx 20-25 minutes)
  8. Serve hot or at room temperature

* NOT Vienna Sausages
